Working together we can be the Antidote to the public health problem of psychological manipulation.
Those who benefit from taking advantage of human vulnerabilities won’t stop. They are addicts, addicted to power and/or money. The only way to stop these corrupt leaders is to expose their trickery.
It will take all of us, working together.
DISCONNECTED YOUTH
According to Measure of America, disconnected youth are teenagers and young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither working nor in school. There are 4,881,500 disconnected youth in America today, or about one in nine teens and young adults (11.7 percent).
The Challenge
Disconnected youth are among the most vulnerable to being exploited. Individuals or groups who utilize coercive or manipulative tactics specifically target disconnected youth with the intention of controlling these young people’s lives for the purpose of advancing their own interests.
The Solution
The antidote is listening to and educating disconnected youth, so that they can recognize these tactics and avoid being taken advantage of. Our programs will do just that!

Please also let us know if you are available for media opportunities or public speaking as we often get requests in these areas.
Antidote is currently developing continuing education curriculums for mental health professionals seeking specialized training. Let us know if you are interested in these classes.
Support group facilitators and formers who are willing to share their stories are needed as we build our network of resources for those leaving controlling groups and for their loved ones.
