Where do you fit in the solution?

Ending the problem of psychological manipulation requires all of us working together.

We’re always excited to talk with people or organizations who would like to be part of the solution. Whether you are interested in volunteer opportunities, research collaborations, organizational collaborations, working with us on educational projects, helping us with our fundraising efforts, organizing speaking engagements, or something we haven’t thought of – there is a way for you to be involved!

Current Needs

Volunteer as a Peer-Support Facilitator

Have you been impacted by psychological manipulation? Do you want to make a tangible difference in the lives of others who have been affected? As a peer-support group facilitator, you’ll provide a safe space for individuals to learn more about psychological manipulation, share their experiences, and gain support. Your empathy, understanding, and guidance can make a world of difference. Training is provided.

Collaborate With Us

We want to start by listening to your ideas about how you envision us working together and by learning more about you.

*On the Contact Us form, under Type of Request, please check the “potential collaboration” dropdown. We will contact you to set up a time to talk.

We understand the power of trusted voices to make change within communities. When trusted community leaders are equipped to recognize – and to teach others to recognize – psychological manipulation wherever it occurs, they become powerful forces for helping people safeguard their agency and autonomy and recover from being psychologically manipulated. Antidote partners with faith leaders, frontline workers, and influential community members to equip them with the knowledge and tools to recognize manipulative tactics. If you or your organization are trusted voices within your community, let’s talk about what we can do for you.

We contribute to events that raise awareness and understanding of psychological manipulation and its harmful impacts. Some examples are events focusing on disinformation, polarization, conspiracy thinking, extremism, and cults. We are always open to hearing about how we can contribute to your event.

We collaborate with educators to design and inform curricula on understanding the threat of psychological manipulation.

Our commitment to helping everyone become resilient to psychological manipulation relies on research-informed strategies. We invite researchers to partner with us in collecting data, analyzing trends, and evaluating the impact of our programs. Your input can help us refine our approaches, demonstrate our effectiveness, and ultimately contribute to a deeper understanding of psychological manipulation as a public health issue. We are very interested in your research in this area and in possible collaboration.

We participate in educational meetings and interviews with policymakers, journalists, and community leaders who want to know more about the harms of psychological manipulation.

You may be part of an organization that does work that aligns with Antidotes’ mission. Lets talk. We are stronger together.
