Antidote's mission is to eliminate Psychological Manipulation on the individual, community, and societal levels.
We create freely available frameworks and resources to prevent Psychological Manipulation and support affected individuals.

No one deserves to be taken advantage of
Still, today, sophisticated tactics, many of which take place online, are designed to target basic human psychological vulnerabilities such as fear, anger, loneliness, and confusion about who to trust.
Those who use these tactics intentionally promote divisiveness and distrust of “the other,” leading to cult-like dependency.
Increasingly large numbers of people are being affected.
This polarization harms families and communities. The most frightening outcome of intentional Psychological Manipulation is the dehumanization of “the other.” The gravest of human atrocities take place when this type of dehumanization occurs.
These tactics and those who intentionally utilize them must be exposed.
Our Scalable Approach
No single organization can put an end to Psychological Manipulation. That’s why we create easy-to-use program models that other organizations or community leaders can implement. Our programs teach people how to spot the signs of Psychological Manipulation and provide a peer-led support environment for people who have been affected by it. Our programs can be used in schools, workplaces, and online, so everyone, everywhere, can stay informed and safe. Together, we can build a future where no one falls victim to manipulation.
Antidote Works in Three Pillars
Our projects reflect our commitment to building, implementing, and testing tools, models, and frameworks that can be used by anyone working to create resilience against psychologically manipulative tactics and by those seeking to help individuals and families who have been directly affected.
